Well after a week of 70s and 80s there saying a hard freeze next week, down to 20 overnite? Things have started to bud out and I here the peepers in the pond! I wonder what will happen to them? Strange weather. My fil was telling me he read a story about the blizzard of 1888, NYC had 4 feet of snow on march 17th I think he said.

Don't worry about the frogs....it won't bother them at all.An old saying is "that the frogs have to freeze in mud 3 times before spring finally arrives!! I do believe though that people with fruit trees are a tad bit worried after last week's temperatures.

I remember one spring freeze, you could see bullfrogs under the ice around the edge of the pond. Chopped holes in the ice and had a nice mess of froglegs in March.

Don't worry - everything always works out.
