Kyplowboy....Just a modicum of English.

So his name should be 'Ky..plough.. boy?
There is a new shop around here called 'tyre trak'. Geez, they spelled both words of a 2 word sign wrong...

Ha ha ha. I was in Texas last week and saw a sign on the side of Hwy 79 that read as follows "registered Boar goats for sale" A guy would think that if a seller was so involved with a breed of goats that he sold registered stock that he could spell the breed. Ha ha ha

Maybe he was just selling the boars.

Or maybe it was like my city aunt, in a classic line: My dad told her he was going to look a Milking Shorthorn bull. After a perplexed silence, she replied, "But, Ray, how can that be?"

Have to laugh. It reminds me of a tire store in West Plains Mo I think it is. Yokohama Ozarko Tire.

For those who don't get the joke, the other day some one posted a scam email from Paypall's customer care "centre." I said never trust an email from some one who spells the word center that way. (Same goes for an email thats call'n a truck'n company a "shipper" or "shipping company."

You can tell where I live, and I suspect KYplowboy will soon be arrested for impersonating a local citizen. No one around here would have noticed those differences in spelling, or likely even known which was correct.

Hey JMS.......I appreciate the compliment, but actually Bill(Wis) is the resident linguist; did you see his post a couple oph days ago about a 'redhead' that he once knew phrom the local trailer park?

(quote) "She was phiery, phast, phelationistic, phlighty, phlambastic, phamous (locally), phuturistic, phull oph phun, and, oh yes, phine at phinance (her own).

She was also phatalistic but that was understandable." (end quote)

They'd have noticed, they just might not have said any thing. I know several flolks who have never figured out why a chevy truck has "chev row let" spelled across the tailgate.
