I've got 76 degrees IN THE HOUSE. Had the windows open all week. Thunder's rumbling so I just closed the south and west ones.
Only made it to the low 80s today.

Full blown summer weather here, sunny, the thermometer by the window in the sun says 90 Deg F at this time 5:55 PM EST, the good thing is the lack of humidity, bugs not too bad today.

Low 80"s here (north central Ohio)today. Only clearly remember two other warm springs. One in late 60"s then one about ten years later. I remember swimming in the farm pond for the first time that year on May 7, late 60"s(before a 4H meeting). First and only time we did that so early.

You mention thunder....ever heard the old wives tale about frost coming 6 months after first Spring thunder? Ours would be Sept 19 this year. I"ve watched it for years....sometimes it"s right......but does that prove anything? I"m thinking in some latitudes, it wouldn"t mean squat!
