Nice. Did you get the combine running before you pulled the engine? And, do you ever sleep?

Rick

Looks good Lyle now a tractor ex manifold and you can get the noise up and away that baby should turn the blade real good

was going to try to get it running while it was in the machine but that would be to much climbing around on that big ol combine. Just as easy to do it on the floor.
PS things dont really take that long to do, ya just got ta get er done...lol

Well, I'd hope you have it out- after all, you've had the machine since last night!

Sure like the way you "get right after it" on projects.

Good job! Looks like it's already mounted on it's own skid. Should be easy to hook it up to your sawmill. How big is your blade? Think it's got enough power to turn it at a constant RPM?

Tisk tisk tisk. This doesn't bode well for the rest of the combine does it? Unlikely to ever again roll flawlessly across golden fields of oats and small grains.... But to be disemboweled for a saw dust conveyor or some other evil drudgery...
It is such a shame Stewie Griffin is such a role model for boys your age...

The white stuff in his yard? That's corn meal. Poor Lyle is still trying to make grits, and it never comes out right, so his wife and kids throw it to the birds... but the birds up there don't eat it. Some one better send him a grits reciepe before it becomes a problem.

Lyle, I see 'Canadian Special" on the side of the combine. A few years ago while I was hauling a combine in eastern Sask, I saw a Deere 730 combine sitting in a grove. Really made me turn my head bacause I'd never seen such a beast. Went past the grove a few more times the next year and got a better look but I didn't see the Canadian Special on the side. Maybe I wasn't observant enough. I wonder what Canadian Special means? Jim

by the looks of things he must make grits the same way he fixs mochines, elbow's and askhole are the only things showing. GET R DONE lol.
