Little white felt thing?

It's the only part I have left over from my tsx765 rebuild. So where does it go?

Might be a choke or throttle shaft packing. Not all models use all the parts you get in kits either. I have drawers full of extra goodies.

Thanks. I put a little washer and rubber washer looking thing on the throttle shaft but nothing on the choke shaft. Maybe I'll squeeze onto that one.

By the way. This NAPA break line seems like it was made for a 641's fuel line.

on some of the early MS carbs, the place where the
mixture/power jet (shown) is screwed into the top of
the carb. a recess is cut into the carb where the
felt is inserted. washer goes on top and the spring
on the screw rides on the washer. guessing that it
was to keep dirt/sand etc. from entering carb. sure
wouldn't slow down water/liquids!

Amazing, I just rebuilt a carb for a 641 myself today. My kit (from O-Reilys). That felt washer goes on the Throttle Shaft with the copper/brass retainer over it.
