My Venturi is loose. What will that cause? tsx765 marvel sch

When I set it into the upper and place the lower I can move it with my finger. No I don't have the carb bolted together but it doesn't seem like the Venturi really fits snug or air tight.

Should I try to reshape the Venturi wider to seat better???

Bolt it down first then check I almost bet you find your over thinking things

My venturi has been loose for a long time but I got some work done today.
