Now have at&t for provider, poor reception where i live, but good when traveling. How is us celluar when traveling? Thanks in advance.

We have real good AT&T service in South and Central Texas no problem traveling. Wasn't so hot in the 90's had to use US Celluar, but AT&T has stepped up to the plate. Lots of rural tower sites.

Dropped Att about 3 years ago. I travel from OH to the KS/CO border. I'm pretty happy with the coverage. Overall way better than I had with ATT at that time, and when I travel with others that have Verizon, I'm on par to better alot of the time i think

We have had US Cellular for quite a few years now. Where we live it is the only carrier that has decent service (the others will still sell to you but have no reception). Have never had any problem when traveling. We are very satisfied with them.

Well all i can say about U S cellular is sofar there's is the best. I have a US Cellular phone and the War Dept has a Sprint My phone works every place Even in Wal Marts hers on the other hand does not . My phone is out of Mo. and hers is from here mine works everywhere even out at the farm where as hers does not i have never found a place that i do not have a signal .

Look at the coverage maps. Here in north east Iowa U.S. Cellular had much better coverage ten years ago. Now the others have mostly caught up. I had U.S. Cellular but I needed a nation wide plan and they did not have it 7 years ago. I switched to Verizon just to gain a national plan. Plus my Dad and brothers have Verizon an we can talk for free.

I have thought about switching back several times because Verizon is a high priced phone system. They charge for everything. A $59 plan will end up at $79 by the time they get all of the charges on it. I know that much of it is govt. taxes and such but when I had U.S. Cellular a $59 plan it was $59 on my bill.

Here AT&T and Sprint are junk. They have almost zero coverage out side of the major towns/cities. My sisters both have AT&T. Their phones will not even work in their own houses but my Verizon and my son's U.S. Cellular will both work in either house.

I have AT&T Paygo Plan. Costs me two dollars($2.00) the first time I use the phone each day --rest of call are free. My phone has worked in Texas Okla. Kansas, Iowa, S.D. Mn., Colo., Utah, Wash. Mont.and no long distance. The only state it won't work in is Nebraska,

I recently dropped US Cellular because about 30% of the time every call I made was dropped by them. poor service and even worse customer service, plus about every two to three months the monthly service charge went up in price. Had the basic monthly plan of xxxxxxxxxx minutes. was costing me about 45 cents a minute to use.
