I had neck surgery 10 days ago. I tried changing oil on the H today. Getting the drain plug loose was too much. I am going to have to take it easy longer.

It is bad not being able to work.

If your doctor does not say you can do that or any thing else DO NOT do it. BTDT and I know what happens if you try to do what you should not do that is part of why I am retired so unless you want to live in pain 24/7 and want to retire do not do more then your doctor say you can

I know just how it feels. I had knee surgery in June of last year. Can't get much done on crutches. Take it easy and let it heal.

I had 6 weeks of nothing more then 3lbs. Then was told still do very little but my dad did not understand and said I had to do this or that or find a new place to live so did things I should have done and have payed big time ever since

My lifting limit is 20 pounds, I am careful lifting that, but need to watch the torque limits. I think wrenching is more stressful than lifting.

It's hard to keep a good man down. After about three weeks of laying around feeling worthless, we have to do something to help us feel worthwhile again. But the body might tell us otherwise. After I got home from my neck surgery I couldn't lift a coffee cup without feeling it in the neck. Then a week later I was walking across the yard with my chocolate lab and the UPS man drove in. The Lab lit up like normal and I instinctively grabbed his collar and held him back. That's when I felt one of the stitches tear open. You don't realize how much you use certain muscles until they are injured. Jim

Well if you think about if you would figure yes to turn a wrench is in fact as hard or harder. If the bolt is say 40ft/lbs tight then you are in fact trying to do twice what you limit if so STOP doing it before you pay for it for the rest of your life

Had hand and elbow surgery 2 weeks ago on right side and I am right handed. Gave in and took SUV in for a oil change, should have one it beforehand. Been a chore to keep hay out and things feed, had a heifer have calving problems and had to get help pull it.

Take it easy on the neck, do as I say not as I do. I am hard headed as they come.
