The Colorado I bought has really nice cloth seats but they need to be covered with some kind of a seat cover that can be wiped off. What have you guys used for covers? I'm not afraid to spend some money for something good. Jim

Lucky to have a good upholsery shop in town, Fella there makes custom covers ouof heavy denim. Look like factory.

I just use large beach towels. I have my wife fold the top over about 6-8 inches and sew a pocket on one end. Then I just slide the pocket over the head rest to hold them on the seat. They are cheap and I can just throw them in the washer to clean them. If I really grease one up it becomes a shop rag. I do buy the better towels. I have been doing this for years.

The fitted large bath towel sounds like a good idea. Marilyn has large towels on the seats of the van but they aren't fitted and end up being a bunched up agravation.

Today I wrestled some hydraulic hoses on an orbit motor, then took the whole works over to a friend's. No need to explain what my clothing looked like.
Then I climbed around in an old military vehicle over there for a couple of hours. I Wasn't any cleaner for the trip home. Jim

Bought a new Ranger and had same concern. Looked at a bunch and decided to purchase a couple of cheap sets (less than $20) constructed of some black synthetic fabric which can be washed. Haven't yet used the 2nd set. Looked at the expensive spread, but didn't think you got anything much better than the cheap ones from Walmart. If you insist on having them color coordinated then spend the big bucks.
