If you are using the free stuff (yahoo, hotmail, etc).. You may wanna watch out for another pfishing trip.... I got this urgent notice from yahoo about suspicious activity with my yahoo account from multiple areas... For safety and security reasons, they would cancel my account (wipe it out) unless I verified my (the following) info.....

Course they wanted full name, address, age, job title, and a couple other things that fill out a credit card app nicely.......

Just thought I'd share....

Dave

All of the phishing attempts oinclude the link to click on to go to the site. Never use the link. If you think the email might be valid, open a new browser window and access the site there.

There is a pay pal one going around, that is almost believable. I almost fell for it, examine anything that arrives carefully!

I use hotmail and I get those ever couple of weeks. About a month ago hotmail really closed my closed my account because one of them got use of my account and was sending pfishing scams in my name. I had to change my password to continue using it.
