I just completely resealed the steering gear and had the power steering cylinder on the back of the steering gear bored out slightly to remove the scoring. Installed all new seals and sealing rings in the steering cylinder too. The tractor supposedly has a new steering pump as of last year, but still refuses to have functioning power steering. When I had the steering gear all apart, I put new seals and centering springs in the control valve, as the old springs were all broken. It just will not give me any power assist in steering effort. Am I missing something here? The valve and its internal parts looked good, no scratches or scoring.
