Been in the 70s and 80s for a month now.Robins are all over my place.
Im dreading having a summer like the last one.

Know winter is over here when the Red Kites show up. Saw my first one today when I was taking a load of poo to the compost pile outside town. Beautiful birds and big. This one seemed to like the company and just kinda hung out around me....

I am in south east Texas. Centerville 120 miles north of Houston. 78 at this time 6:45. Haven't seen much of winter this year.

We have a couple of inches of fresh snow in N.E. Iowa. But it should be gone in a couple of days. Went with a friend over the weekend to put trickle chargers on tractor batteries. Will not be long until we need the tractors.

the Alt. in the sprayer tractor. Got up this
morning and was 26 deg. Just went to the coffee
shop, will wait for a nicer day. They are a coming.

It's warm here in Keithville too, Hammer Man. For all you country music fans not familiar with Panola County, it's the home of both Jim Reeves and Tex Ritter. Johnny Horton and Claude King grew up just a few miles away.

You must live in Texas. Same thing here, just no snow. Bundled up one day wind out of the N. Two days later wind out of the S, walking around in short sleeves (during the early afternoon).

One year we didn't have snow all year till May. Blew me away.

Welcome! Wife gets aggravated with me cause I go out of my way to see/watch birds... Got quite a few in this area and several species of prey birds... Real easy to get sidetracked :roll:
