This doesn't look good!

I agree that does not look good.

However, somebody is to be commended for a first class job of chaining the load to the trailer.

as long as no-one got hurt, thats always the best news...on a sad note, sh!!!!t,,,,hope this doesn't start a trailer war thread, but, that is why i like my goose-neck with 5th wheel pin [r-v set-up]....

I agree on the tail wagging the dog, a lot of weight out there behind the axles.
Light looking pickup for the task too. I think that's a 70 diesel on the back with the rim knocked off the cast center. The pickup was overloaded with just the trailer and the junker two cylinder. Let alone 7500 to 8500lbs of 70D
It appears to have been rolled and much of the speed reduced before proceeding out onto the shoulder.
The driver was certain however at the start of the trip he was saving money and everything was ok. Any mention of weight wold have been met with "mind your own business".

My SIL did something similar. She fell asleep while driving early in the AM, went into the median, woke up, over corrected, and very quickly was following the trailer into the opposite ditch while rolling over.

wow not good. i think if the j.d. was in the front wouldnt have been so much tail wagging. would have had more weight on rear of truck and less chance of this happening. but for sure too much load there.

Well that just shows you how the tail CAN wag the dog. LOL. If no one was hurt then count it as a learning experience. Just because you have the room does not mean you have the truck/trailer to haul it.

I have two small bumper hitch trailers. The heavier one with our bigger skid steer on it will walk you all over if you don't behave. If I am going far then I use the goose neck. It pulls much better.

Its good if nobody got hurt. He had to much weight for truck. If you look at the truck it might have been set up for goose neck by the tailgate it has.It may have help if he had a weight distributing hitch on trailer. And thats just saying maybe.

I posted these photos without getting prior approval from the sender so I have flagged them to get removed. Nobody got hurt, just the tractors and pickup and trailer. I just wanted to give an example for all of the members on here that haul too heavy without the right equipment and then tell us to keep our mouths shut. Yes, bad things can happen and thankfully nobody got hurt.

Without knowing anything, looks like the heavy tractor was on the back, the light tractor was on the front. Glad no one was hurt, gotta get weight on the pickup, not the way it appears it was loaded....

I can't believe the guy who delivered a 4040 Deere to my cousin back several years ago didn't end up in the same boat. He said when the guy told him he could deliver it,he thought he had a real truck. Said he showed up with it,in the winter, cab, full set of weights,on a trailer behind a half ton pickup.

I got on too late to see the pics but a pickup and trailer loaded with two green tractors rolled about three miles from me here in NE Friday afternoon. Same rig?

glad there was no seroius injuries, bad deal on all the twisted up vehicles, good job on securing the load though, i saw several no no's first the heavy tractor is behind the trailers axles he might have made it if the 2 units had been reversed on the trailer, tag behind trailer is ok, providing you have enough truck pulling it, this isnt one, even if its a 1 ton, and i can't tell, if it is or not,i pull one of these rated for 25 tons ocasionaly when i have to , but the tow unit is one of 2 peterbilts, not a pickup, heaviest so far on that trailer was a d-6 cat not my favorite trailer for that but where i had to take the cat, the 50 ton lowboy i usualy pull to haul machinery just would not fit, didnt have any problems , then in the pics we also dont know if this is the result of the drivier having to take emergency evasive action for another vehicle, elk, ect in the road, if so, with this load that would have been un recoverable

I sold an 856 Farmall to a fellow about 120 miles from me. He showed up with a bumper hitch Donahue hay trailer and an F250 to get it.

By the time we got it loaded, several boards had broken in the trailer floor, the tires on the trailer was squashed half flat, so I put 60lbs of air in each, and he had about 120 miles against a strong north wind with the tractor cab sticking up in the air stream.

Then going out of my driveway, he ran one side of the trailer off the culvert. I got on my D19 and pulled the whole schiess out on the road. When he took off down the road, I figured I have his check in my pocket, it's his ball game.

I've often wondered if he made it.
