I want to convert my 1964 JD 3020 to electronic ignition. I can"t find the distributor part number, which I apprently need, in order to determine if I am ordering the right parts. I have looked all over that thing and haven"t found it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
 
The most direct is to ask you JD dealer. You can go to the Deere Forum on this website and ask the question and someone there can probably help you right away. Or, go to the parts section of this website and look for the distibutor for your tractor. They will often say something like "replaces Delco 1117856....."
