Dean... know you"re somewhat southwest of me. Hope you were out of the path of destruction. Went north and south of us by many miles and came out of the south/southwest....
 
Henryville and Marysville are both about 30 miles south of me. At 4:15, we watched one go over our house. Louisville news was showing it on radar and about 30 minutes later, it hit the small town of Holton, about 30 miles east of Interstate 65 on US-50. They said about 25 homes destroyed and at least 2 dead so far. US-50 is closed from North Vernon to Versailles so far. Weather reports are saying it looked like an F5 hit the Henryville/Marysville area, but cannot be confirmed until more examining by officials.
 
WE are 18 miles s-west of Sherman Minton brigdeand louisvile ,,14 are now dead, peken ,henryvillle , marysvill , chelsea ,,horribly mauled ,, weather this am HERE was JUST LIKE BEIN RITE INSIDE OF A SHOTGUN ,, ominous and forebodeing , humid and QUIET,,. weather sttions said watch out !!,,,, ITS COMING and COOKIN up MEAN !,,,only had harsh wind shere ,, very little rain ,, some hail ,, WE ARE LUCKY ,,, tonite the winds are coming from all directions ,, oddd ?
 
as of late fri night riply co had 2 people loose there life and the local hosptial 2 miles south of me treated 10 people from the area and one was taken too UC hosptial in cinn,oh.

My area was bypassed. The tornados passed to the south of me but folks in southern Kenton County Ky about 30 miles to the SE and those in Holton, IN about 30 miles to the west were hit.

I did lose my barn in 2009 when the remnants of Hurricane Ike came through.
