Farmall Regular PTO extension shaft assembly value

Just wondering about the $ value of this complete Farmall PTO extension shaft assembly... it has the gusset/bracket mounting system for a Farmall Regular (and the complete extension shaft but shaft was not installed yet in this pic). Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Have a great day!

I have a 29 regular, Thanks for the picture. Mine doesn't have an extension and this is the first one I've seen up close on a tractor. I wouldn't have a clue on the price, someone may want it however I guess it would be worth what ever they wanted to pay.
I would say they are few out there.

I bought one for a Farmall F-20 about six months ago and gave $100.00 for it. That included shipping & handling and insurance. It was complete and in real good shape. The only thing I had to find was the pto sheild.

you got a bargain. iirc, they were generally priced at $200-250 at rpru's. not saying that is what they sold for, but still...

Thanks for your reply. Do you mind my asking what you paid for your shield? Also, did yours have these triangular Regular mounting brackets? As we understand, they can be found on F20s as well as Regulars - but a collector told us they were for actually designed for Regulars (because the extension systems came out later on, and Regulars did not have the needed holes in the underside of the axel housing - hence that triangle mounting bracket system).

Thanks for your reply. What is rpru? If someone is getting that price, then I feel ok about what we paid. I forgot to say in my reply to d beatty, that we paid a total of $125 for all these parts... I can't remember the shipping fee, but think it was about 35 - so counting shipping we paid about $160.

Thanks for your reply. Is your 29 restored/repainted? Ours is rusty, we are keeping it that way. The PTO extension is not for sale, I was just wondering on the approximate value compared to what we paid. It took us 6+ months to locate one.

I have yet to find a F-20 shield but found an older H sheild and made brackets so it would fit. I gave around $50.00 for the H sheild in real good shape. I also put a over running clutch on it. Mine does not have that type mounting bracket. Mine is just bolted up under the bottom of the rear end .

Bought one a few years ago from Cowman for an F-20. Very reasonable, but don't remember how much. Came with the shield. Use it occasionally with a 5' rotary mower.

rpru is red power roundup. prices there tend to be on the high side, sometimes can be haggled down, especially when it is getting close to the end. of course, you are taking a chance that someone else wanted the item bad enough to pay the posted price.
