My F-150 has a noise at low speeds 10 mph and under a click click sound every 1 to 2 seconds (in 2 wheel drive) not all the time...any ideas I checked obvious- lug nuts, wheel center caps..no vibrations at any speeds..any ideas..thanks

Check the CV joints on the front wheels, jack it up leave in 2 wheel and turn wheels, listen and check boots. worked for me.

does it go away if you put it in 4x4 ? If it does you probably have an IWE hanging up, Integrated wheel end, fordspeak for the lockout hub that is now on the backside of the knuckle instead of the outside where it is easy to fix.Usually more of a buzzing sound though. Slow click look at what others said, also may be brake pad moving around.

If it just has center caps, no idea. If it has full wheel covers (stock plastic covers) and one of the 5 mounting tabs is broken, it will make an annoying sound every revolution. Not noticeable at higher speeds because it gets drowned out by the road noise.

Clicking means u joint trouble.A needle bearing could be broken in half or even missing. If a u joint breaks it can break transfer cases and transmissions. You have to remove the drive shaft and inspect all bearing cups.U joints break when a seal fails and water washes the grease out.A loose drive shaft can tear into a gas tank.Dont put this off.If you have never done U joints have it done, nasty job.
