the three point hitch doesn"t want to raise and I was wondering where the filter might be for it, I can"t find it.
 
I dont know where Case puts thier filters,But the first thing I do when I buy an unfamiliar 'new' tractor/implement is to buy a book.That way I know the important things and dont have to guess....
 
the e 930's have a hyd filter under the platform depending on what year some have a screw on and some have a canister type a few even have both, but I would say that is not your problem if the hyd remotes are working right my guess is in the Draft-O-Matic valve under the floor plate hassome thing stuck/rusted ect if you tear into this valve I highly recomend having a service manual to work with and a operators is a very god idea as stated below to cnt
 
Had that problem with my 930 twice. On mine I had to remove the cast bracket at the center and rear of the fuel tank. Right ahead of that, if I remember right, it looks like a big nut in the housing. I had to take that out. I think it was the relief valve. On the bottom of that valve, there should be an o-ring. Mine was blown. I replaced it and the three point worked fine.
 
I looked all over under the cab and couldn't see any type of filter so I thought it might be under some cover and since I don't have a manual I thought I'd ask here and see if somebody could enlighten me, thank you.
