Just home form farm auction,
1937 A, Govenor housing removed, and top of housingm not covered. Brakes removed, Motor stuck, Rear tires flat and shot, Paint decent brought $950.00

1952 B, runable tires, sounded good, one owner brought $2400.00

1955 70 straight and run good brought $3800.00

Old model 52 2X14 plow, useable plow needed one moldboard that was broke, and adjustment rods for both levers were gone, and replaced with baling wire brought either $625, or $650.00

This was in south east Nebraska. They usally sell pretty good, but not like this. Sales like this are getting fewer and fewer. Seems things on farm sales go a little higher. Not sjure why the 37 sold like that.

Tom they are outragous for you and I..Was 20 mi west of Paris here in west tn today nice 70 with good rubber $ 2,100.00 and they had to beg for that. A streight looking A (not running) brought $ 450.00 I am sure for a scraper. Goor running M farmal with 1/2 or so rubber $ 1200.00 and everybody thought it was 200 dollars to high. Those mid west people could make money comming to our parts and buying someof this old iron.

I'm wondering, too, where in SE Nebraska. That can't be too far from me.

A couple of years ago, I passed on a respectable '52 A John Deere for $950, and I've been kicking myself ever since.

A half a days tinker work and you could have gone in the field with it.

This jm would agree- that"s way cheaper than what we see in central MN nowadays, and for many years.

DP IS RIGHT i live in nebraska. lots lots of tractors for sale. prices very high i think. I quit reading auction bills a long time ago. just look at pics just to appreicate.

don"t know why the prices are sooo high.

I CANT EVEN BUY PARTS TRACTORS HERE.

SCRAP METAL IS 240 TON HERE. 285 FOR SMALL CAST.

A Farmall M barn fresh that don"t run will bring 1200 to 1500 easy. 1800 if an idiot is in the crowd.

Nonrunning but straight John Deere A sold at a consignment sale in East central MO yesterday for $400. There were over 800 buyers there on a nice day.
