Thought some of you would be interested in seeing this. Of course, there is an upcoming appeal, and I hope the big money doesn"t get into the right pockets......

Say what we will about the French, but they do have a way of saying fl+*k you..:>)

Guilty in France

Listen, I DON"T like Monsanto, Having said that and not knowing the specifics, it sounds kinda like the coffee spill at McDonalds. Every chemical we use is dangerous if not used properly. How about the parathion that got so restricted because of a foolish person using it off label that we really can't use it now. I used thousands of gallons of it and what is used now, in replacement, is way more expensive and just plain don't work as good. If Monsanto does loose and has to pay big$$$$, just who do you think will pay? We will because Monsanto will simply pass the cost on to us.

Sounds like the dumb shlt used a chemical that was banned years ago and then stuck his head in the tank and breathed the fumes and now wants Monsanto to pay. I don't care for Monsantos control over the Ag industry anymore than anyone else, but I don't think they should be sued for someones stupidity.
Reminds me of the pothead at my school years ago who was siphoning (stealing) gas and used a lighter to see better in the dark. He couldn't figure out why nobody cared when he burnt half his face off.
Maybe he should have sued the Cenex station who sold the gas because there was no label to say don't use open flame while stealing this product from someones gas tank.

Snort some chemical fumes, sue the chemical company. Sounds like spilling hot coffee in your lap and blaming McDonalds. The French just hate Monsanto, just like they hate BASF. The Germans have run BASF out of their country.

Before using the HOT COFFEE as an example of a frivolous law suit read the facts.

- I thought the same until I saw the whole thing on TV

Talking out o your butt son. That macdonalds was written up repeatly (for over 6 months prior to the injury to that woman) for coffee exceding 160 degrees in the serving pot. That is the temp. of well done meat. She had 3rd degree burns & it would not have happened if the owner of that franchise would have done his job.
