Potash/fertilizer place in Hersey Mich.

Heard a rumor today that the potash and fertilizer place in Hersey MI has been sold to the chinese and you can no longer buy potash out of there. I dont claim this is factual, so maybe some of you know something on here about it. Are there other instances of chinese investors buying up and hoarding fertilizer or what? Just wondering what this is about.

China is buying all of the natural resources they can. They where turned down this last year from buying a company in Canada that would have given them over 50% control of the world's potash supply. The Canadian government stopped the sale.

China is buying and co-developing many different things in Africa too. We are making them money rich by buying all of their products. They are using this economic wealth/power to try and corner all of the power and supplies they can world wide.

It was NOT the Chinese who tried to buy Potash Corp. but an Australian mining company that the Cdn gov't shot down.

Regardless... Potash Corp is a sacred cow that won't be sold. For a variety of reasons.
