IH flat top fenders

I have a 1086 with a cab in really bad shape. I am considering removing the cab and installing fenders and roll bar/canopy from a 966 or 1066. Any ideas if this will work or any suggestions? Thanks

I believe you will need the support from a 86 series for the entire dash, steering wheel etc. When you take the cab off an 86 series there is no support so the open station models have their own unique setup.

You could just take the doors off and remove the glass on what you have.

Leave the windsheild in though. You will be happy you did on them cool mornings.

Thanks for help. I will look a little closer at the dash set up around the cab. Pulling the doors and windows, except for the windshield, isn"t a bad idea either. It is a shame the cab is in such bad shape, the engine only has 3900 hours, with me being the 2nd owner.
