Wire tracing

I'm trying to install a backup camera in a 2003 Park Ave Buick and I cannot find which of the wires in the wiring harness inside the trunk lid run to the backup lights. Is there a way to find which wire carries the current when I place the car in reverse? I cannot seem to find any wires entering the light socket and I don't really want to dismantle the trunk lid.
Thanks

got a clamp on ammeter that works for DC.. most clamp ons are ac only.. better models are Dc and AC..

It is a light green wire that supplies the backup bulbs power. There should be a connector on the trunk lid on left side, it should have 6 wires in it. Cavity f should be the lt green.
Let me know if you need any more info

Something I knocked together when I had a truck.
Four inches of fence wire, pointed one end, wire solded on ,continued to a tail light fitting from a truck with globe, another wire to an alligator clip.
A cheap trouble light.
Twenty years on, still handy.
el cheapo.
