I have a set of six ih hanging type weights prolly weigh 100 pounds each that i want to sell. What is a good asking price for these weights. They have ih stamped on them.
 
Have seen several I.H. weights for sale on craigslist in MN for $100 each, seem to be re-listing the ad frequently, so they must not be selling at that price.
 
Went to an auction in South Central WI a couple weeks ago and saw them go for $65 a piece. In the past I've seen them bring as much as $90, but the typical price I see them go for is about $75 a piece.
 
Ford suitcase weights generally go for $.50-$.75 per pound. I don't watch other brands as close, but would suspect they usually sell in that range also.
 
Well that gives me a rough idea. I dont think they are worth 100 each also. Ill just offer them for 75 bucks a piece or best offer and see if i get any interest.
 
Its been a while but seems like they would sell for 100-125 a set of two at most auctions. I got a set out back I would probably let go for that.
 
At Lyndon, Ks on New Years day they was bringing 42 dollars each and seemed like one guy bought most of them if they had IH or JD on them.
 
There are too different IH weights. One is only about 75 lbs and the other is 100 lbs. The lighter ones will bring more $75-100. Guys like them because they are easier to handle. The 100 pounders will usually bring $50-75.
 
actually what you call 75LBS will weigh 70LBS and they did make a 100LB weight, which is flat across the bottom, but most of what are called 100LB are actually 90LBS, they have a little arch at the bottom
