I was responding to a thread on taxes when the mods pulled it. I was sent to never - never land. Had to shut down and reload the browser. Never had that happen before. The mods are getting pretty active - maybe to head off problems?
 
I was responding to one the other day when it got taken down. Had to hit refresh to get it to do anything.
Guess the owners must be putting bandaids where the cuts are gonna be.
 
The trouble is people can not have a debate any more without resorting to foul language and personal attacks.
Too much television has robbed them of the ability to think creatively, engage in dialectic and produce a cohesive argument.
When their thinking is challenged they can only resort to childish tactics and tantrums.
I think if people could have a reasonable discussion on issues here it would be tolerated.
But reasonable discussion is kind of an oxymoron in today's TV saturated society.
 
I've seen folks that purposely get threads pulled, simply since they couldn't compete on their ideas.

Too many people being told what to think, no discussion, no dialog, just my way or the highway.
 
After reading threads like the tax one, it just reinforces the fact that there is a considerable number of folks would stumble around in a dark house with a serial ki11er on the loose instead of turning on the lights.......

Some people can't seem to disagree without being disrespectful at a personal level. That usually demonstrates the lack of quality of their arguments...

Just don't know who the hall monitors are since the "report to moderator" option.... Except the ones that are really proud of the brown nose and report to site comments anyway......
