OT/ Update on blonde driver

Just thought I'd give an update on Victoria and her 'driving'. Since she started, Mom and me have been sort of splitting takin her to work. One day she would be good, the next day back to square one. Frustrating, to say the least. And she hasn't been helping much- gets up, we let her drive to her work, and we don't see her again until 10pm. We finally laid down the law one night last week, and gave her 'til June to get off her azz. She can't spent all evening and every hour of the weekend down at her boyfriend's and learn how to drive! So, yesterday, she wisely stayed here, and I took her out for about three hours. I took her on every back road I could think of with curves and narrow lanes for about 100 miles. She still doesn't seem to think ahead, but is much improved after yesterday. I had to get home about three or so to get feeding done, I headed her home. She still overshot the lane by about five feet and ran across the neighbor's lawn, luckily no pedestrians, and got back with no scratches that I know of, and I could open my eyes again. I got back in from feeding, and asked where she was. Mom says her boyfriend picked her up 1/2 hour ago---

Just hang in there because someday she will be driving a bunch of blonde children down to your place, so you can teach THEM to drive!:>) Good luck.

Do you have any big open fields ? if so go buy some junker have let her drive around the fields and wreck it a few times so she can learn how not planning ahead is going to effect her.

Well, after 37 years of teaching driver ed, I gotta say there are a few who just don't get it. Maybe she's one of them.

Yeah. When I was a Ford Service Manager, the dealer's 16 year old daughter always got to drive the most beat up junker off the back row of the used car lot.

Everyone knew it was not a matter of "if", it was a matter of "when". We all called her "Crash", her own mother included.

Cursed progress.
Wife(then girlfriend) turned 18 in Dec. I turned 18 in April. We graduated high school in June. Married July 27. She came with bad teeth, outstanding dentistry bill, and no drivers license. We took care of all that.

My sister was that way. She just didn't get it.

She moved to the city and never had to worry about it for next 15 years of her life. Never even owned a car that whole time.

Of course, then she met a guy, moved to the country, and now she's his problem.

The best driving aid I have found was a riding lawn mower(old one) when they quit running into trees it was time to get in the car.

She obviously is in love with the mind out the window, marry her off then she may, not saying will, come back to her senses besides it's his problem then..

My little blonde cousin ( 5 foot 2 inches) 130 lbs. just retired. She drove a Semi, Military hardware and jet fuel and a lot of other crap like amunition for the last 20 years. Always with an escort on the ground and in the air. Had a panic button on the dash. I'd like to see anyone give her any crap. She has been on a lot of bases all over the USA. Won't say a word about them. She says they have her signature on file. Great retirement package.

Good luck Don! We have a blonde grand daughter that is pretty much the opposite! She wanted a Grand-Am, and had it bought before she got her license at 16! She took driver's ed and got her license, then started driving in the largest city in NH! She just turned 19, and hasn't crashed yet! She loves blonde jokes too! Go figure! LOL

Sounds like she needs an apartment in town on a bus route.

But really she needs (rider) lawn mower duty for a summer. Mow twice a week if it needs it or not.

(quoted from post at 11:37:07 02/14/12) Why would two children aged 18 get married ?

Cause they're in LUV.

I got another question: Why do young women/men want to degrade their bodies with a tattoo or body piercing??????????

Both luv and lust have similar symptoms. I have no clue why
some kids want attention by mutilating their bodies? I asked
my kids to think about what would happen if they tried such a
stunt.
