hELLO; OLD CASE TRACTOR W/ EAGLE HITCH-----400 SERIES ---THE EAGLE HITCH BLOWS OUT OIL FROM VENT UNDER SEAT WHEN TRYING TO USE IT ---ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Try over on the Case section of this site, just one or 2 lines from where you found this. A lot of very good Case guys over there but they only look at the Case section.

I'm not familiar with a 400 but on a VAC there is a
vent on the cylinder or actually the rock-shaft
housing that vented the area under the piston. If
it's venting oil it's an indication of O-ring
leakage. Does it hold up OK or does it leak down?
Just my $1 worth.(Two cents adjusted for inflation.)

You need to replace the seal on your 3 point hydraulic piston, it is leaking, overfilling the rear end with hydraulic oil and coming out the vent for the rear end under the seat.
