Nice purchase. I got my 9 year old one for christmas but you switch the barrels for one or the other. This looks a lot handier.

true story. my dad was trying to catch his horse. My dad had one leg so he could not move fast. Was quick on tenper through. went to truck got his gun just like you'rs. was goning to burn his [but] he thought he had 410 shell in it WRONG. he forgot that i had been useing the gun 3 days ago. thank GOD it was a 22 short. I was 10yrs old at the time.

Looks like its missing the front sight. One like this was my first gun from about 1967 -still have it. They only had the side lever for a few years.

Forgot to mention -they are great guns! I learned to hunt partridge with mine.
The front sight is a rifle style sight not a bead.

I have a similiar one, 22mag over 20 gauge. I am missing the rear site. Need to get that thing fixed.

Have one of those myself. Out of everything I would choose it if having to pack one gun. Shoots 44-40 loads pretty good for a smooth bore.it gets packed for moose hunting too. Works on bush chickens and bear or moose in a pinch.

We had one of those O/Us when I was growing up. Great for rabbits and squirrels. Would be a great rifle to get a hold of again, ours was taken in a break-in when I was still a kid. Enjoy and happy hunting!

Now, now, that's not allowed on this forum unless you use it to shoot a tractor or a farmer. I'll wait for the pictures!
