We found out today that my wifes cancer didnt grow any in the last 3 1/2 months. Shes still doing the Chemo and we are taking this as good news. Its been pretty rough on her but she is holding up. Thanks for the good words from before

There was a 17 year old high school student of Oriental/American ancestry that was in the news recently who came up with a (something or other) that collected around cancerous cells but not normal ones. I guess they liked her method of fighting cancer so, they gave her $1000 for it and now they're checking it out. She went out and bought 12 pairs of shoes!!!
How about that? Good luck to your wife, mine went through it and came out a winner. They have good methods to fight it today. ohfred

Thanks to all. She is a fighter but weak as a kitten right now. She and I cut firewood for 40 + years and built 2 houses and a few barns and garages. Kinda getting used to her so will keep her. Thanks again

I am glad to hear the good news for you folks. Those wives can be the biggest blessings ever. Mine, like yours has been there with me for all the good and bad. I would be scared to death if this were happening to her. I have said it before and will say it again, when God gets ready for one of us to go, I hope I go first. God bless the both of you.

Glad to hear the treatments are woking. My neighbor is going through a fight with cancer also. Last report was that original location of cancer was nearly gone, but had some spread elsewhere. She continues on chemo and is doing well, considering all she is going through. Will add your wife to the prayer list as well. God Bless.

Not easy but when I get to feeling bad. I just think about the funny things she did. Like buying everything on sale. She had me drive her to a town thirty miles from the house. She saved a whole 50 cents on an item she wanted. Or when she told me. It's my job to spend your money.

Wife is fighting cancer too. Had surgery this summer, then on to Chemo. First half year was weekly with a whole bucket load of chemicals. Was a real tough time. Now down to only every three weeks, and only one medication. Now feeling better. Had a couple lumps, that worried us, but they did an ultra sound today, and didn"t find anything. So maybe we"re outta the woods. Only six more months of chemo, five more years of daily pills. Been there- done that, we sure can sympathise with you and your wife. Best wishes for her recovery.

Ray, my fingers are crossed for the very best.

The wife of a coworker has cancer as well, and I can only hope and say a prayer. Good people. There's a lady that works a 911 center that I maintain, same thing. I don't understand it. I'm seeing it, and the people, women that I'm referring to are younger, and to me, younger is below 50, and one of them late twenties and are none smokers, so doesn't appear to be related to that. But, somehow it happens and I don't understand it.

Just the same, I wish your wife the very best of luck and improved health as well.

Mark

To those who are fighting cancer with some success, I am happy for you. I hope the best for you and I know that it is one of the most traumatic experiences anyone can face. By the time that they discovered my wife's cancer it was too late to do anything. As Billy Shafer said, you just remember the good times.
