Kubota and 12 row planter pic, it did it...

After some guys around here didn't think it would work, it all worked fine. Four wheel drive was the biggest help. 125hp was plenty. I never ran the starter tanks full, just what I needed for a seed fill up or per small field. Couldn't run up a few steeper hills as good as a big tractor, but it was fine. Best part, 1/3 gallon per acre in fuel. This is a wing fold also, that helped keep the weight on the planter going down the road and not on my tractor so much.

The tractor and planter look like a pretty nice outfit. With 125 hp you definitely should not have any trouble unless you are mudding it in or on a steep incline.

That is plenty of tractor! I have seen many Case 2290 and 2294's pulling 12rn's. They are supposed to be about 135 horse and probably about the same weight as that 'bota. I'da taken the loader off though.

That looks like a 1760 planter like mine. I've been pulling it with a late 4020 and getting along fine. In loose ground you can tell it's back there. Mike

It should do it. An old neighbor used to plant soybeans with an 894 AN pulled by a 2010. He used his 3020 when planting corn.

If that's a M125X, my cousin has been pulling a 12/23 Kinze for three years, never heard a complaint out of him.

In wet conditions you'd really want duals for that setup, otherwise should work.

Friend pulls an 8 row JD with a 4020, in beans it has a 2nd 7 row interplant hooked on behind, so pulls a rather heavy 15 row with a dualed 4020...

We pulled a 16 row Kinze with a 4430. Pulled it fine from end to end but we had trouble pulling it around the ends in the raised position.

Joe Bob: Why take loader off?? A tractor without a loader is only !/2 a tractor and puts more strain on my back!!! Armand

The loader is very handy. I'm used to looking at it so it doesn't bother me. It's very handy for picking up rocks, carrying seed, etc.

Oliver Guy,
I was curious if your M125 was set on 60" centers for planting corn. If not how close to the row is your tire track and does it impact stand.

I am considering a M126 for planting this spring.
