Look what followed me home.

Bought the plow which from help on this board is a little wonder 2-12.

Thought it would fit on the small trailer but was a bit wide.

State trooper followed me for 4 miles but didn't bother me.

Comments welcome..(I can take it!)

Trooper probably followed you because you have no fenders on the trailer. But if he ran the plate on the trailer and the Explorer and they matched, he left you alone knowing you weren"t headed to a scrap yard but instead to your home.
Nice plow by the way, and I think you did a genius job of getting it home!

Probably waiting for it to come unglued! Son brought a plow from Nashville TN, to central Michigan on a somewhat larger flatbed utility trailer. Very heavy strapping down, didn"t move an inch. No enforcement officer even gave a second look.

The only thing I might of did different was let some air out of the tires, maybe it would have hung over the rails more. Like guys saying they would take their cars on the railroad tracks and let air out so the tires would follow the rail. But since you got it home that way I'll say you could haul anything. Or maybe let the plow down so the bottoms would have rested on the deck. Either way good job. chris

Thanks to all who replied!

Looks kinda spindly but I had the plow chained down along with 3 3" ratchet straps and the winch cable.

This looks like a fun project...This machine is a bit more complicated than it looks.. I found at least 15 adjustments looking it over.

I will keep you all posted on the project if there is interest.

Again thanks for the replies...
