Waterpump

I need a rebuilt waterpump for a 1965 D6 Cat. Dealer said Cat dosn't rebuild them anymore. Anybody know of where one might be found? Thanks for any help. Harold

The d6 1965 should be a D6B 44A with d333 motor and you could check with a other motor rebuilt shop they should be able to help you or check with a other CATERPILLAR DEALER.

They may not rebuild them anymore but you can sure as heck get parts for them...get a parts book if you don't have one, order the parts and do it yourself. Some impellers were held on with a bolt and just slid right off. If you don't want to mess with it, there's a place in Cleveland, Ohio called Hepp-Kondas, on the corner of E.43rd and Payne. (sorry no #) Just had a Ford 4000 pump done there, 68.00. Pump from CNH 199.00.

Thanks for the replies. Found another dealer that had a kit, so when that arrives, we'll see if we can put it back together. Looks as tho it won't be to bad a job.
