Having a good time here

I am going back and forth between Farmall and Here reading and looking at pics.
Between those I am recording vinyl Rock and roll to CDs (ten years after right now on the computer)
My wife bought me a "it" brand turn table with sound software and USB output, Pretty easy!! and great fidelity. I am grinning. Jim

I haven't done any vinyl to digital transfers but have thought about it. I would sure like to have some of my hard copy stuff on the mp3 player.

I was reading an article the other day in the WSJ about vinyl making a comeback of sorts. Probably limited but sales increased by a third while cd sales showed a decline. The tangible vs. the ethereal?

Anyway Cd's scratch if you look at them wrong and then skip worse than record ever did.

We bought one too and converted all my husbands old albums to digital. It is awesome. He is very happy! Song we did not have, we purchased through itunes.

When you burn CD's make sure you mark the box to use "sound check" and the songs get burned at a similar volume level... otherwise some songs on the CD come out louder than others and you have to be adjusting volume on your boombox or stereo.
