need help-remote controlled mirrors

Have an Allis 8550. One of the remote mirrors (motor or connection) doesn't work. Switch works and power to mirror but no movement. Have mirror assembly off. How do I get at motor without breaking the mirror face. Anyone know whether these are fixable. Any help sure appreciated

Try heating the mirror with a hair dryer. They are just tacked in with arubber adhesive.

Thanks for the advice. I tried heating the mirror with a paint stripper heat gun. I got it real hot but the mirror wouldn't budge. How hot or how long? Or is there something else I can try?
