Manmade fenders?

I was looking at tractors on ebay and while reading the description of an Oliver 60 I came across the term 'manmade fenders'. I am not familiar with this, so I am wondering what it could mean. It would seem to me that the only other possible types of fenders would be naturally occurring or divinely made, neither of which I have ever seen myself, although they may exist.

Yes, I get your point. How else did they get made unless manmade?

But for 90% of us who just can't think of that correct word to use sometimes, . . . I can understand that as well.

Perhaps they were made strictly by the force of someones hands without the aid of tools or machinery from raw ore. Seems a little dubious to me. I certainly wouldn't pay any extra for them.

Perhaps it's gender specific. Those fenders look to me like they were made by a man; those made by a woman would be curvy and have practical accessories such as a coupon holder or potpourri dish.

Politically correct would be person-made fenders.

Obviously there ARE folks out there who seem to think fenders DO grow on trees and those who have them should just give them away.

I am busily surfing the 'net as we speak searching for "fender tree" seeds and "wide-front axle tree" seeds. I prefer an "heirloom" variety rather than a "hydrid" species.
