Classic view snafus

I have noticed before in classic view, sometimes replies are to the wrong person.

For instance, in the stop smoking post below, Dave2 replied to the post and in classic view its says it was a reply to me Rick Kr. But, I have never posted to the stop smoking thread.

Just wondered if others see this. I am kinda old school with the classic view, because the whole post is on one page.

Yep seen it happen a good many times. I have gotten replies form post that I never even posted any thing to odd but hey it is a computer they do odd things some times
 
I noticed that too.. seems like some of replies don't make sense unless you read who the reply was to in their post
 
No not really Compter do what some human told them what to do. It may not be you but there a lot of things done on computers that are done by the insruction written by the programer a human being.
 
Well yes I know that that but also know at times what a computer was told to do does not always work out the way the human thought it would. Yep I understand computers well years ago that was what I worked on in the Navy and I have fixed many of them and programmed a few years ago. I learned to hate working on computers so went back to engines which I by far prefer to mess with. At least with an engine you can see and hear what is going on but with a computer you can not see or hear where them zap-u-tron are going
 
The replies from people using Modern view are the only ones screwed up on Classic view. That's how you can tell who's using modern view.
 
I notice that all the time, can't tell who's replying to what. Somebody makes a nasty comment to someone who isn't even in the discussion. Has to do with modern and classic view not being 100% compatible(I guess). I gotta give the people behind ytmag credit for making them work as well as they do.
