anybody have a good cure for cracked hands besides super glue.
hick grease is also easily cleaned with motor oil - even used from a gas engine (from a diesel leaves a odor that is hard to get rid of). I have also found that if I have paint or wood finisher on my hands that good quality hand lotion will break it down and make it easier to remove. Now if I could find a way to get rid of the smell of transmission rear end grease.(quoted from post at 16:31:36 01/21/12) i've found gojo and similar hand cleaners hasten it. My hands crack real bad in the winter, especially when working on tractors and cleaning the hands often.
I try to wear more disposable gloves and use a (whisper) hand soap with moisturizer in it.
I got a 1g jug at lowes in the contractor section.. ig pump hand soap with moisturizer. works real good on grease.. but not as agressive as gojo. If I have thick greasy oily hands.. i grab a handfull of sand and then a pump of soap and let the grit work, then rinse.
good luck
