Either a six or eight hundred series, probably a 5 speed judging from the proof meter needle.

Most likely what is left of a 600/601 or 800/801 series tractor. On the left side under where the battery would be is a flat spot that will have the serial number and modal number stamped

its pre '65...could be any of the 100 or 1000 gas series...look where old told ya for numbers.

Should be 601, 801, or 4-cylinder 2000 or 4000, as the 600/800 didn't have a fuel gauge. But definatly a pre-'65.

It's definitely an 8x1 or, less likely, a pre 65 four cylinder 4000. It's not a 6x1 or pre 65 2000.

In any event, it's worth scrap price.

The lack of a charge indicator light and the presence of an ammeter clearly indicates that it is not an 8x1 series tractor but indeed an 8x0 series... or at least the hood of an 8x0.
Actually, at this angle I really don't know how you'd establish between a 600 or 800.
