Boy I would"ve done some investigation of it if I"d seen it sitting . No lift arms , so maybe used as a Tug . Go check on it & tell ehere its at . I"m no Case guy but I could sure make an exception with that 4x4 setup . Thanks for making me drool . God bless, Ken

looks like either a big mo 400 minnie or a 500. i like the 4x4. here is my big mo 500 loader backhoe.

The rear counter weight has MM cast into it. And the nose/grill is a casting. I know I've never seen one before.

I'll see what I can find out in the morning.

Located outside of Battle Lake MN.

LOL, when I was 16 I was transplanted here.....I thought that natives of MN were really from Mars at the time.....now I'm thinking where they are from was further than that!

I agree, its an MM 400 or 500 (probably 400), but what's the deal with the fuel tank? Looks like a haywire deal- wonder how the original was configured?

That thing would be worth some money, if reconfigured back to stock- the 4WD option was pretty rare.

mike, that is the correct location for the fuel tank, pia to fuel it, the fill is just below the hole in the dash where the tachometer would normally be. the right front of the fuel tank mounts directly to the exhaust manifold. working my backhoe hard on a hot day will get the fuel pretty warm there is some shrouds missing off the fuel tank. heres a pic of mine with the shrouds in place.
