help in replacing CK 930 steering u-joints

I would appreciate any help or tricks to replacing the steering u joints on a CK930 row crop tractor. I bought a $127 shop manual thinking it would have the info I was wanting. Almost like Int'l manual. Wish it was like a 4020 Deere shop manual.
So that's why I need help from someone that has done it. The ujoints are still available from Int'l. And I picked up the bearing supports and ball from a salvage yard. Thank you John

Don't know if this is appropriate or would help at all- on my WD45, after I smashed my thumb trying to drive the steering shaft out of the u-joint down inside the frame- I discovered that with someone pulling and turning on the shaft, while I held my air/hammer against the u-joint, it practically fell apart.

Just remove snap ring on inside an hammer on outside shaft with heavy back up on flat other side of joint. Careful not to beat them up an make look bad. Chances all you need is to repack them with good grease. Other one at front end under radiiator you will need to remove radiator an replace that one. I got mine from Napa. They are needle bearing ones an get dry an rusty an need replaced.Good to soak in rust penetrator on all to perhaps make removal easier.

Forgot u joints you have pictured have no needle bearings in them .They are just plain sleve joints..

Also you cant use one under radiator with grease fitting on outside as its a really close fit with radiator hose.

You just need to replace the u-joint cross and not the whole u-joint. And I question weather you even need to do that. looks like the problem is that shaft bushing is shot. It even has the shaft wore down. Are you sure the slop is in the u-joints?
