I went this evening to look at a 180 Massey diesel. Rear tires looked about 80-90%, fronts were almost as good. Sheetmetal was pretty straight but could use a paint job. Has a freeman loader on it. The guy wants 3000.00 for it. Think I'll buy it. Started right up & no smoke that I could see except for the cold start which cleared up pretty quick. I need a loader for the 255, but at the price, I think I can sell the 180 & come out ahead. Mother says I really don't need another tractor, I don't use half of the ones I have, but you know how they are LOL the heck of it is, SHE'S RIGHT. What do you guys think? Keith

My dad has a 180 and loader with over 8000 hours. Bought new in 1967, looks tired but still works good. Had a MF 65 dieselmatic he traded for the 180. 65 had a loader when traded, but dad didn't get one for the 180 until a year later. My brother and I had to shovel a lot of cowcrap for awhile, sure did miss the loader.

1st, you need to train "mother". No such thing as too many tractors! 2nd is that if I was close enough I'd buy that tractor without the loader!

One tough tractor! The 175 I just bought has been through he!! and back and it still runs like a top. The sheet metal isn't much good and the brakes and steering need an overhaul but the basic tractor is about as good as they get. Jim

At that price I would tell her you bought the loader and the tractor came with it...no need to sell that 180 those are handy tractor, I should know we have 2.
