Headlamp reflector repair

Hello,

Has anyone in here ever repaired a lamp reflector. Some says they used silver for it.
Hm... I guess in the US you have mostly sealed beam, but still maybe someone have tried to repair the separate type reflectors.

Our older tractors all used the Delco "guide" lights with the seperate lens, reflector, and bulbs. IH. John deere, Allis, and a few others all used the same lights, and the individual parts, reflectors, etc., are all readily available.

The reflectors in question is SEV Marchal. Can't find them here in Norway.

A buddy resilvered the mirrors on his sextant with a kit he found on the web. It was pretty easy, just have to be careful with the chemicals.

refinish headlight reflectors. Get a copy of the
magazine, you"ll find several sources.
