Need a diagram for mower belt on John Deere 212

I have a John Deere 212, the mower belt keeps braking every time I take it to JD for replacement. I don't believe they are putting the belt on correctly. Does anyone have a diagram for the belt flow for the JD 212, 47" deck.

Jack,

If a bearing is frozen in the deck or the belt tensioner you can destroy a belt pretty quickly. There is a belt guide on the deck and another on the tensioner. The belt has to be on the correct side of the guide. If the tensioner is not tight, the belt can slip or flap around and break.

There are several different places where you can go wrong putting that belt on and only one right way. The weekendfreedommachines website is the place to go. Do a search for deck drive there and look for a 200-series thread.

Why not go back to them and work out the problem someone is doing something wrong if it mows the grass it has to be running correct or else it wouldnt mow its that simple.

Jack look to the left of your screen and you will see "Community" and under that discussion forums. Click on the and when the page comes up scroll down till you see garden tractor.

Make sure they are using a real JD belt. I've tried most every aftermarket belt, and they just don't hold up. Also, JD belts were cheaper than most of the others.
