Besides their musk gland odor, our bucks liked to nnalert all over themselves to impress the girls. I'm glad we don't have to do that.

This is a excellent Boar Goat most so called Boar Goats are just Brush Goats with the Boar color. gitrib

You can burn he musk gland off at the time of dehorning and us AI and keep your buck in a Nitrogen Tank and he does not eat anything or get out. gitrib

downsouth,...is that one of the new boars they're bringing in or is your's just a white phase of the old breed ???

Just a white phase of the old white breed. The traditionals, white body and red head are most common and are usually what are shown.
This guys favorite lady is an all red and of all the kids she's dropped, one was all red and one was white with a red head...all the rest were all white like him. I guess he has the predominate genes almost every time. He also breeds with an all black female, same thing. A couple of black and white kids, all the rest all white.

Neighbour had a nanny goat yrs ago but no buck, anyway one day the nanny needed to go to the buck so he sent his 12 yr old son off with it to a farm about a 1/2 mile away, but told him" if the next door farmer asks where you took the goat don't tell him too much" The lad thought he had done good getting past next door without the nosey neighbour seeing him but on the way back the neighbour was out on the road. He stopped the lad and asked him if he had the goat away for service "yup" said the lad " And where did you get her done?" asked the nosey neighbour...The lad turned the nanny round, lifted her tail and pointed "In there Sir"....... LOL
