said there was spring flowers sticking thru... Where is that? We haven't had winter yet after a real dry summer.. Hazelnut trees/bushes are budding, come other shrubs are budding, and a pasture that I took the horses off of late (brown) is getting a green shade to it along with other grass growing a little. Old folks here say Feb will hit us hard....
 
Clipper came thru today. Temp below freezing, went to Keystone Farm Show in York. I kind of felt bad for the guys selling and showing stuff outside the hall complex. Temps in the 20's with a 25-30 mph wind all day, and snow showers from lake effect snow. Snow showers were heavy enough down around Baltimore to coat some roads and drive them nuts at rush hour. Of course, if the see one flake, they panic--
 
Here in Minnesota we often get a "January Thaw", but we won't get one this year because there's nothing to thaw. We did get a "January Freeze" though, but it looks like it only lasted 2 days, now its heading back into the 40s.
