I was looking in the archives for some information and noticed back in 03/06 we were complaining about the price of gas - about 2.70 per gal average. We have it in our area for 2.99 right now. I wonder if the coming elections are going to have an impact?
 
I just paid $3.51 last night on Pensacola. Forecasted to be over $4.00 / gallon by summer.
 
I just paid $ 3.39 yesterday in Michigan.
I doubt the Slimy buffoons in DC would be able to dictate the retail price of gasoline.
 
Do not know about the price today but yesterday it was $2.979 per gal. As for the elections doing any thing for the price of fuel probably not till after Nov when we will know who maybe getting into office. As for any body up there caring what we pay for gas heck no you know they do not when they keep getting cost of living raises but the guys that put there life on the line and those that did years ago have not seen a cost of living raise in 2 years. The U.S. is run by the rich and for the rich any more
 
Don't know about the elections but the last I heard here in the 'great' state of NC, where we already have one of the bighest gas/fuel tax rates in the country, they are planning to raise taxes on it another 8 cents per gallon.
 
Well, you may recall that Nancy Pelosi was saying in about May of '06 that we should elect nnalert to the house because they had a plan to reduce those high gas prices. 18 months after she became Speaker, gas prices were at their highest point ever. I remember paying over $5.00 a gallon in parts of California that year.
 
Yeah, we've been complaining about gas prices, (and rightly so), since the 70s when the "fuel shortage" sent prices on their way to the moon. Most people, including myself, believe it was staged for the express reason to drive prices up.
 
Fred, if you really believe that crud from someone in congress, I'll sell you your very own prefabricated oil well for your front lawn and you'll never have to buy fuel again....
 
well the holidays are over and the gas companies are done teasing us about dropping prices again,,,now they will be on the rise till they want to lower again, to get us to drive some where, when we will be stuck paying a dollar more to return home...gas is under $3.00 in Colorado for the minute,,,oops their they go up again,,,spoke too soon,,,lol
 
All commodities are down for some reason that I can't explain? But with Silver and Gold down as they are today,..I will just keep buying. Trust me,..the S. will surely Hit The F. before we know it.
 
I love it, the state makes 50 cents a gallon for doing nothing and Cuomo still doens't have enough money!
