Tractor Puller!

Another good story to read, being 10 years old, and competing with adults, she's got to feel like she's on top of the world. Great to see kids doing things like this.
 
ya, great to see them getting involved with adult stuff. fit right into the workforce when older. not just playing those video games and lost later in life.
 
Really at 10yrs old she sure doesent need to be in a pulling contest.Her Dad works for Joe Gibbs huh wonder just how stock that tractor is who is kidding who.
 
You must not read the pulling page here. All a stock tractor does is lose. I was driving big ones pulling wagons, balers and manure spreaders when I was her age. I think the tractor she's running is far safer than the ones I drove. Hers is tied to something that WILL stop it and has a kill switch. As for stock or not, they are probably limited to 10% over on RPMS, stock block. That WD is making good power, but a smart car probably makes more.

Good for her. Nothing wrong with what she's doing as long as she knows what to do if anything ever goes wrong. God forbid. Wish her lots and lots of wins.
 
Doesnt she need head protction, shin guards elbow pads a seat belt aroll cage. Oh yea the gov't hasn't gotten in to nannying tractor pullers yet. lol Good for her gobble
 
Not really. I was taking out loads of manure at 8, and driving a tractor while the older people were picking up bales and stacking in the field when I was about 6. My daughters first job driving a tractor was when she was 4, and I was picking up bales in the field. Great place for a kid to learn to drive. And slow enough you can walk in and kill the engine if need be.
