it has come to a boycott that we [those who show tractors] are not going to put our tractors at the stock show in 2012, reason is that every year they [stock show people] used to put our show the first Saturday in the s-s arena for about four hours after parading thru the streets to the arena...last year they put us on the last Sunday of the show,,outside mind ya,,who the he## is at the show to see tractor when the last rodeo is at 100pm, also when vendors are packing up...any way, we will be in the downtown parade Tues [i think] before the s-s starts,,,but hope fully every tractor owner will boycott show,,,then when the people bi@#$ and complain to them, maybe we can get back our Saturday/or Sunday back, even the second Saturday/Sunday would be o-k...sorry for long story,,, but a rancher/farmer have tractors too, and like to see other tractor owners show their stuff ...thanks bob

Don't blame you one bit bob. If a man has something that he is proud of and wants to show it, then he would like for someone to be there to see it. I understand your point, and a good point it is. Good luck.
P.S. Just where is this Denver county? Just curious.

the stock show complex is in Denver, Colo, where I-25 and I-70 cross, one mile east of I-25 at Brighton Blvd, also the Denver coliseum is across the highway which is where the rodeo happens. can't miss either when in the area...bob

Thanks, Bob. I would have guessed that first, but there are quite a few "Denvers" around. There is even a small town named Denver here in NC.

if the weather is better there than here in Colo, maybe i should move there and tell relatives i still live in Denver, lol

Well, I don't think it gets quite as cold nor do we have as much snow, although I'm really not that familiar with Colo. Normal temp for this time of year is in the 40s. And we do have quite a few antique and tractor shows in NC, but mostly in the spring thru early fall.

I have a feeling crowd feedback has already led to there current decision. I suggest a little more research. You might not be missed.

You don't have to take your tractors anywhere you don't want to Bob. Calm down. They are having a nice little show in McCook Feb 11, 12 and it's indoors in the Kiplinger Arena.
