Merry Christmas. Thanks so much for all your help answering my husbands questions on our old Regular. I am sure he will send me back here seeking your wisdom throughout the New Year... we hope yours is happy and prosperous!
Thought you'd enjoy a pic of the old girl with her Christmas bow. We had a carload of people stop on the road yesterday to take photos of her. Husband walked out and talked to them - turns out it was someone from the area whose wife is French and her parents were in the states for a visit. So now pics of our tractor are headed for France.

Thanks for the picture. My wife and I are from England but have visited the USA and Canada several times on holiday (vacation?). Every time we see an old tractor at the side of the road,we stop and take pictures. We have met DOZENS of people like yourselves and had some wonderful conversations. Thanks to all of you. Phil

Sweetfeet: Hey... that is a nice touch. Might renew some old memories to people passing by or maybe making a New Years resolution to get busy on their old tractor..

Hello Phil: I had a cousin come over here on vacation several times befor passing away. He enjoyed the wide open space of the Western states at first but then switched to the close in areas of New England.. (I think he liked the name England...) Post some pictures of your travels around here as well as back home over there..

Would love to add pictures, but need my 10 year old grandson to show me how!! All you need to do is walk outside your door and look around, you will see the same mountains, plains, tractors and people that my wife and I see. Only thing is, because you see them everyday, you dont look at them like we do. Thats the reason I dont have many pictures taken in England, the place is just too familiar. We love North America, we tried to emigrate to Alberta to become volunteers at the Reynolds-Alberts Museum in Wetaskiwin, but we were rejected as too old.

Would love to see pictures of England. I would love to visit there someday! My husband does not care for travel though, so not very likely to happen.
I did some work as a temp a few years ago for a woman that sells magazines. Her business partner is from England, so she gets to travel there on a regular basis. She had a blown-up photo of a beautiful castle. It was fasinating. I love old buildings as much as old, rusty machines. Often take pics of abandoned building sites and also of junkyards when we make a trip for tractor parts.
You should have your grandson show you how to post pics (if you have a digital camera), and just write down the instructions. It is very easy.

Thanks! Hope it motivates people or at least gives them enjoyment... I love to see these old tractors restored. Husband is working on ours so from a side view, she is currently missing her block and head (and a whole lot of other stuff). But in a year or two, she will be purring right along. He is working on cleaning up the head right now - will be taking it for valve grinding and planing the top surface later this week.
