Some time back I asked Jde if he ever undertook making a holster for his hand gun./Victor made his and mine. Shoulder holster for the Long slide 45 and a clip on for the P.P.K 380.Both worked out as a beautiful projects and great fitting holsters. With buying a finished product the cost would have been $250.00 higher, learned another trade to add to the other list of accomplishments.MADE IN THE U.S.A. Bought both sets of loading dies for the new ones, so now we can load em up and shoot em out. Hand loaded for the 44 Mag- 480 with great success. Built a brick incloser for the reloader to be operated in.Supplies fit in the cabinet we built 8 years ago, so now the new supplies are here and in the cabinet to be re-loading for the 45- 380 after the holidays.Lots of enjoyment and a way lot cheaper then buying factory loads and holsters.Life isn't wasted when one LEARNS SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY> LOU.

Good looking leatherwork. Now, go out, get yourself a MEC 900, some lead, shells, and primers, go load a bunch of shells and bust a bunch of sporting clays. It'll make you feel better and humble you at the same time!

LOL Lou, I've reloaded 100 rds of Hornady 240 XTP hollow points and another 100 rds of Hornady 185 XTP both in 45 ACP in the last 2 days, Going to do 100 RDS of Rem 6.8 SPC in the morning with Noslers! I'm bit advanced, I have a electronic trickle scale and dispenser and turret press! I can do about 100 rds an hour! Still have lots of stuff to do 357, 270 and 30.06.

Great holster! They look really good! Where is mine????? LOL!!!

Lou I'm really hoping that you and yours have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Great new Year!

Rick

Whats the point of being humble when one is good? Oh by the way you ment MEC 9000.I can bet you never done leather work for the first time that looked this good.

Rick. Good to hear from you. Thanks for the post. Nice to see re-loaders that practices savings on ammo. This was Victors first time with the leather work. Lots of time and lots of fun . I got to watch .lol. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Warmest regards LOU.

Missed a '0'. You can be good all you want. Shooting sporting clays will also make you humble.

How true! Saw a cock bird the other day, bu pheasants are almost non existant around here any more. Too many foxes and redtails. Haven't been pheasant hunting since my teens. But have a good bit of fun with sporters. Lot more shooting, but you're right- they do taste like he!!. Have a super Christmas. Mom just gave me my Christmas present early- new CVA Optima. Have to take some time between deer hunting and feeding tomorrow and sight it in. Might be nice to have a scope for a change.

Nice looking leather work. I dabbled in belts, possibles bags but never holsters. Been looking for a nice CCW holster for my new toy Taurus PT145 Pro and so far nothing really trips my trigger.

I enjoy reloading as well but way behind on keeping the ammo boxes full. Brass is cleaned and that is as far as I am.

Love those deer grips on the revolver. Where did you get those? I have a Ruger Super Redhawk I would like to put something like those on it.

Donjr,Pheasants are gone here also. QUAIL was exciting to hunt. Now nothing. There are game farms but to me it's like shooting fish in a barrel, never went to one.I use to go to KENTLAND IND for bird hunting. Was a great area. Lots of thorny ditches to wade around in and great farming land to boot.I miss that time. Sounds like you're going to have a great Christmas and wonderful gift. Wish you the best Christmas ever and a happy New year to you and your family. Warmest regards, LOU.

Cool Stuff - Good Job! I have some over the road semis, and one just hauled 22 tons of brass to Winchester. I wonder what that load was worth?

Beautiful leather work!! Send me an e-mail if you would be interested in making a wallet. Chris

I've got a Keltec .380, and I'm told certain cell phone cases work dandy as a holster.

But I'm a little uncertain how to shop for it-

"Could I see that one, please?" and as he hands it to you, you pull out a pistol. . .

What could possibly go wrong?

Mike St.Peter would ask you the same question WHAT WENT WRONG?????You could be wondering,WHERE DID ALL THAT HARP MUSIC COME FROM? Depends on what kind of person you were .as to why so much heat and why the pitchforks??? regards LOU.

Shep, The grips are from Smith & wesson. There are other grip suppliers that are available for different pistols. Can be found by google. regards LOU.

Looks good for a first timer. Never been a fan of a shoulder holster though. Have to wear a jacket to conceal it, and isn't the most comfortable for me to wear. Then again I would never carry a full frame 45 like that because its just tooo big and heavy to wear around all day.
